Most people consume a Protein or Meal Replacement shake to help maintain or lose weight.  Understand fat holds toxins.  When we lose fat we then release the toxins held in the fat into our body resulting in concentrated toxicity.  This issue is rarely addressed in the formulation of protein and meal replacement shakes.  BEING address this issue providing Botanicals to help cleanse the body of these toxins.  Being also has a ingredient that has thermogenic properties which may aid in fat loss.

 

Being also address the issue of healthy fats in it formulation.  Not all fats are bad.  There are fats called Essential Fatty Acids.  They are essential to our health but our body cannot make them. We must consume them.  Our brain is 60% fat.  Our skin, our joints, our blood all need these healthy fats to be at optimum levels.  Almost all of the fat in BEING comes from Chia Flour.  Chia is considered one of the best sources of Omega’s in existence.

Just as important as what is in BEING is also what is not in BEING.  For the last twelve years I have been studying blood under the microscope.  Viewing blood this way allows you to see the changes in the plasma based on what someone is eating, drinking, or taking as a supplement.  Simply put, our plasma should be clean and the red blood cells should be round.  Unfortunately many things in the supplement world leave their negative signatures in the blood.  Some of what I am about to share may be controversial and contrary to what you have learned and been told by some of the leading experts in the health industry today.  Please remember I am offering information based on my experience looking at blood quality.   It doesn’t make it right or wrong it is simply my experience and if it makes sense to you then great.  If not then thank you for taking the time to read this.  I have been fortunate enough to travel the country and work with some of the best practitioners in the states.  This has given me great exposure to all kinds of different treatments, and supplement programs, letting me see firsthand the results in the blood, both positively or negatively.

Mushrooms

You will not find mushrooms in BEING.  Tom Brady and his wife do not eat mushrooms, that alone should be enough.  There is no arguing that mushrooms have been used for thousands of years to treat, cure, and mitigate diseases.  The research in that field continues to this day.  If it did not work, it simply would not still be around today.  The simplified idea behind mushroom supplementation is they go into the body and eat up all the bad things.  What happens when they run out of food?  Do they die or adapt?  Mushroom grow in dark, damp environments.  What is our body, a very similar environment.  When someone is taking mushrooms you will see groupings in the blood of what is typically defined as platelet aggregations.  For example the Cordyceps mushrooms have a very unique look.  When I sit with a client who is taking these, I ask unprompted if they are taking a mushroom supplement and specifically ask if they include Cordyceps.  Cordyceps are known as the “Caterpillar Fungus”.  They take over the hosts mind and body and turn them into mushrooms.  Watch this short BBC video (it will probably enough to get you to stop consuming them).  Again these have been used for thousands of years.  What is consumed as supplements is not the same thing as the traditionally used mushroom.  Today’s mushrooms are grown in labs and most are mycelium which lack the active components.  The real Cordyceps are extremely pricey because someone had to risk their life climbing trees in search of these rare fungus.  Historically they are also used only for a short time, not daily!  I truly believe that if you are consuming mushrooms daily you are setting yourself up for some serious illness or diagnosis.  I have seen people who were diagnosed with serious illness while taking Cordyceps in a supplement.  They stopped, cleaned up the mess and 30 days later they were given a clean bill of health.  You will never find mushrooms in any form in any of the products we formulate.

Dirty Greens

Spirullina, Algae, and Chlorella all have amazing nutrient profiles and potential health benefits.  The challenge with these greens is that they are essentially pond scum.  They are often grown in open ponds which are highly vulnerable to contamination by other microorganisms, like other algal species or bacteria.  In order to utilize them after they are harvested they need to be cleaned.  There are many different processes that can be used, some of which involve chemical cleaning.  Why do I want to consume something that needs to be cleaned when there are many other types of greens with a similar excellent nutrient profiles?   That said there are high quality sources of these products.  Typically they are grown in enclosed ponds which are carefully managed and processed.  Several years ago a friend asked for help developing a green powdered drink.  We looked at Spirulina as one of the potential ingredients.  Once a “Clean” source was found it was priced more as a standalone product and too costly to use in combination with other ingredients.  So guess what source may be in your product?

Digestive Enzymes

One of the uses of enzymes is to help break down the undigested meat in our body.  What are we… One big chunk of meat!  When I see people who are taking digestive enzymes their red blood cells look like something took a bite out of them, remember they should be round.  The bottom line is this, if you are having digestive issues you have a mineral deficiency preventing your body from making its own enzymes.  Example: When I met my fiancée she was severely lactose intolerant and had been since the age of fourteen.  Upon looking at her blood it was obvious why.  She had a huge mineral deficiency.  She restored the minerals in her body by consuming a high quality green powder (that is why there are greens in BEING).  A year and a half later she can consume dairy, with no issue.  There are enzymes, such as those from pineapple and papaya that do not have an a negative impact on the quality of the blood.  I believe enzymes have their place, but not on a daily basis.  They will never truly fix the problem on their own, they are more of a band aid.

Probiotics

Can you say marketing!  Probiotics are being marketed as the wonder bug in everything. They are just that a live little living thing.  When someone is taking them you can actually see them swimming around in the plasma.  Studies show they boost immune function.  I certainly hope so! There is a live thing swimming around urinating and defecating everywhere.  I hope my immune system cleans it up!  Again, I do believe that they have their place.  For instance, after food poisoning, antibiotics, and chemotherapy.  On a daily basis, NO.  Think about it… when a baby is born, we don’t start giving them probiotics.  They naturally make their own healthy flora.  (Although, there have been studies done with infants and probiotic for colicky babies.)  I do not believe probiotics or enzymes should be put in any formulation.  If needed, they should be taken individually.  They are live living things.  When they are included in a product they are consuming it as it sits there.  If they are eating your product guess what else they are doing?  I have never seen a product that has both of them in it that does not have a negative impact on blood quality shortly after consuming it.  I believe supplements should improve the quality of the blood, not make it worse.

Nutritive Sources

I choose high quality nutrient dense ingredients for BEING.  I believe nutrition from food sources is far more usable that any individual added source.  In many formulations you will see added ingredients to achieve the nutritional profile listed on the label.  The question is, can your body even use it?  Many products use Nutritional Yeast, Brewer’s Yeast, or specific minerals like selenium yeast, or chromium yeast.  When you look at the blood of people with a serious illness you will see what the microscopy community defines as yeast.  So why add more to our body?  When a cancerous tumor is removed they always find Candida present.  In this country they view the yeast as opportunistic; It is because the person had cancer that is why the yeast is there.   In Italy there is an Oncologist Tullio Simoncini,  who believes it is the other way around, and I tend to agree.  He believes that the yeast is the beginning of the problem.  I had a wonderful Bernese Mountain Dog that I fed Brewer’s Yeast to every day based on the breeders recommendation.  This was long before I started doing this, I would never do that now.  By age five he was loaded with cancer, coincidence?    You will not find yeast or any derivatives in any product we formulate.

Fillers

Many products contain fillers to make you feel full.  They are inexpensive and have to little to no nutritional benefit.  Many products use Magnesium carbonate as a filler.  Magnesium carbonate, is most often referred to as 'chalk'.  It is used as a drying agent for hands in rock climbing, gymnastics, and weight lifting.  Magnesium carbonate is also used in taxidermy for whitening skulls. YUM!  Psyllium Husk, apple fiber, inulin, and tapioca are all used to help fill the belly while providing little added value.  To be fair psyllium husk can be a great cleanser for the bowel. You will also find liberal use of sunflower, canola, vegetable oil, and other inferior oils to slow the uptake of the carbohydrates in products.  BEING has no fillers added.  To fill you up and hold you over until the next meal we used Chia Flour.  Chia has a host or nutritional benefits as well as the ability to absorb twelve times its weight in water.  This allows you to feel satisfied without the bloating feeling you may have experienced with other products.  Its ability to absorb liquid makes it the ideal thickener, as opposed to the secreted bacterium Xanthum Gum.  Chia alone also provides almosyt all of the fiber in BEING.

Whey Protein Isolate

We sourced this Whey because it is nature's perfect protein, boasting a 104 Biological Value (BV). BV is the ability of the body to use the nutrients. The higher the number, the more useful to the body. Chia Seeds
(Salvia hispanica)

Chia is an edible seed that comes from the desert plant Salvia hispanica, a member of the mint family that grows abundantly in southern Mexico. Chia, is familiar to most of us as a seed used for the novelty of the Chia Pet, clay animals with sprouted Chia seeds covering their bodies. Little is known, however, of the seeds tremendous nutritional value and medicinal properties. For centuries this tiny little seed was used as a staple food by the Indians of the south west and Mexico. Known as the running food, its use as a high energy endurance food has been recorded as far back as the ancient Aztecs. It was said the Aztec warriors subsisted on the Chia seed during the conquests. Chia seeds are extremely high in Omega 3 fatty acids and are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and soluble fiber. One ounce of chia seeds provides eleven grams of fiber. This amount also includes calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, manganese, copper, niacin, zinc and the proper ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. Studies show that eating chia seed may slow down how fast our bodies convert carbohydrate calories into simple sugars.  Blood sugar naturally rises and falls throughout the day. It can also be what makes you drowsy in the afternoon. The slowing of conversion of carbohydrates into sugar has the ability to create endurance.  One of the exceptional qualities of the Chia seed is its hydrophilic properties, having the ability to absorb more than 12 times its weigh in water. Wheat Grass Powder
  (Triticum aestivum)

Moringa
(Moringa Oleifera)

Moringa is sometimes referred to as the "Miracle Tree" because all parts of the plant are edible and healthy.  The leaves of the Moringa were identified by the World Vegetable Center in Taiwan as the vegetable with the highest nutritional content among 120 types of food species studied.  Moringa provides all the amino acids and omega fats necessary for life. Lauded since Ayurvedic times for its supportive properties, this medicinal plant is packed with phytonutrients and nutraceuticals that may support healthy detoxification; a healthy inflammatory response and may support healthy blood pressure levels already within normal range. Containing over 90 nutrients and 46 antioxidants, non-GMO Moringa is one of nature's most nutritious foods. Moringa leaves are highly nutritious and are rich in vitamins D, K, A, C, B6, Manganese, Magnesium, Lysine, Riboflavin, Calcium, Thiamin, Potassium, Iron, Protein and Niacin. Broccoli Sprouts
 (Brassica Oleracea)

Guggulu Resin
(Commiphora mukul)

Guggulu is a penetrating herb that scrapes out naturally accumulating toxins from the body channels. It is renowned for its ability to carry other herbs with it deep into the tissues.
